Check your Telehealth benefits as my mental health services may be covered through your private or marketplace plan on a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform like SPRINGHEALTH, MDLIVE, or HEADWAY. Marketplace plans may differ from employer plans re: in/out of network costs.

You must locate my profile, then REQUEST an appointment through that platform in order to bill your insurance. I no longer bill insurance directly. I strongly recommend that you verify DIRECTLY with your insurance outside of these platforms and understand that in some cases, you may be charged a higher out of pocket fee than what is stated . Please research your plan directly as I do not verify insurance benefits. For more information regarding using insurance for behavioral health

Insurance companies are for profit & can deny claims for a variety of reasons beyond the control of the therapist. In some cases, it may be cheaper to pay out of pocket or through your FSA/HSA.
I am unable to provide services to those in litigation or persons seeking
evaluations or letters for disability claims or for support animals.
Cancer Survivor / Cancer Caregiver / Cancer Navigator & Coach
"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." ~ Rumi
Experience Matters.
Licensed in Missouri, Illinois, Utah, N.D. & Idaho
I have over 30 years of combined experience as a hospice social worker and licensed mental health clinician. I see clients ages 20 and over.
My practice is specific to those issues of people who are challenged by workplace or life stress that leads to anxiety and depression, those facing chronic and terminal illness, grief, loss,
and the anxiety and identity issues that can accompany cancer survivorship.
I don't treat individuals who have a history of suicide attempt or ideation, substance, sexual or domestic abuse. Nor am I credentialed to provide care to those who are struggling with eating disorders. You deserve to be treated by someone who has obtained the appropriate credentials and continuing education in those specific areas to help you.
In a coaching relationship, we work together to enhance and maximize your performance in a specific area as quickly as possible. In certain instances, I combine movement, healthier behavioral changes and nutrition education & "hacks" to assist you in meeting your long term and short term goals.
In psychotherapy, we are working together to change challenging behavior patterns and enhance your personal potential as it relates to your relationships and who you desire to be.
Healthy living skills are an important part of my client's treatment plans whether they choose coaching or psychotherapy. If you are unsure what type of therapeutic assistance you need, I can share with you a coaching contract as well as as a behavioral health intake and set up a 15 minute meeting so that you can make the best decision for your needs.
